LITTLE BY LITTLE

　　

     It is spring and new school term has begun.   I post my project this month too.   My work is getting busy as spring comes with school kids and allergic disease.  I’m suffering from allergy too  ＾＾）；  So I can’t enjoy hooking every night. 

　　How do you like my project?  I added a little work on my project.  I finished red tortuous part and five triangles.  Kanon, my friend send me good comment about my project.  She told me to hook from center part.  My color planning is terrible.   I wouldn’t add more colors.  I’m afraid it might be congested.    This rug is 90cmx180cm.  Big project for me.  It may take one year or so to finish.

JAW PAIN

I’ve been suffering from jaw pain since last fall.  My dentist made me this splint to wear in bed.  It is made of thin plastic and fits my upper teeth.  It would work to relax my jaw muscles and release pain. She says I might clench my teeth in nighttime.  Of course I don’t know.  I tried it last night and felt better this morning.  IT WORKED!!  I also have tooth pain by sensory sensitivity.  Nighttime clenching sometimes causes tooth pain.  I easily get pain even by eating hot noodle, Ra-men!  So pity!  I hope my tooth sensory sensitivity would disappear too.

FACEBOOK

I started facebook with Japanese friends especially my old boys and girls in my senior high.  We chat everyday and I feel like I were in the classroom.  My facebook was originally for RA friends ( patients with Rheumatoid arthritis in other countries). And Japanese facebook was released last year(not sure), it started to spread between my own friends.  I try to write comment in bilingual, but easily forget to write in English.

My Miss Weigle Report No4

Today is March the 1st.  Feb has finished.  We say Feb runs away.  It really did, yes did.

 I have pretty busy days recently.  I usually have small number of patients in winter.  This Feb,wel stopped preparation medicine in our hospital.  A major pharmaceutical company opened a drug shop nearby and my patient would get their medicine there from March.  So I was restless a little last month.  

I promised myself that I would post my hooking project every month so that I would never lose my motivation of hooking.  In last one month, I added two dark flower patterns in peripheral and red ribbon zone. Color is confused in my project and ill-balanced.  I wouldn’t add more color and give it a twist.  But very difficult.  Wooo!

I also enjoy playing organ.  Did I tell you that I got organist as my teacher?  I had a lesson the other day.  The way of playing organ is too different from piano.  I will write it in other chance.  I want to make my organ library in YouTube some day.

Miss Weigle No3

    It’s Feb. 2 rd. today.  One month has passed away already.  We have a lot of snow inJapan.    Especially this year, we do it almost everywhere inJapan.  Tokyoite had snow last week.  It snowed in southJapan.  And it is very very cold too.  Our highest temperature is below zero Celsius.  TV said South France had snow and cherry blossoms are on their best inWashingtonDC.   Strange weather all over the world.

    Anyway I’m busy at hooking rug and playing organ everyday.  Off course I work full time job, but not so busy due to cold weather.  I post my Miss Weigle. I hooked center part and added five little squares.  I can’t decide main color so I’m afraid it may go to a messed up one.

Miss Weigle No2

    I’m busy for working, hooking rug, practicing organ and so on.   

    I can make a little progress everyday, because it takes time to hook rugs.   My purpose is not finishing rugs fast but just enjoying to hook.  I wouldn’t hesistate to rehook when I feel I had mistake.

    This project is a geometrical designed rug and has point symmetrical pattern.    So there are same two pattern at least.  I hooked 2 big square parts. And I can’t decide blue color in it.   My strategy in color planning is using chic and small number of color.   Look at two squares in the middle.  There are different color in two,  light blue and dark blue.   Which do you like, dark or light?   I might rehook light blue part to dark color.  It would look tight.

    How do you like?

I BOUGHT AN ORGAN !!!

    As my doctor said I could start playing the piano again,,,,,,,,,I BOUGHT A CLASSIC ORGAN!!!

I had piano lesson for 8 years when I was a child.  And 2 years for modern electric organ lesson.  Comparing piano and organ, piano play would be the overload for my RA finger and joint.  I chose classic organ because I like its glorious sounds.

    My organ, Roland C-200 has been released just last month, yes grand new.  It has many sound, not only church organ sound but also orchestra sound, piano sound trumpet, cembalo and flute. It has only one layer keyboard but it could be divided into 3 parts, right hand, left hand and pedal.  I want to master this organ and play many beautiful classic music.

   I love playing organ. It doesn’t give me pain on my hands. Good for RA patient.

   Today I play 2 classical music that I used to play when I was a junior high student over 40 years ago.
