I’ve been hacked !!

Is this sentence right as English?  I want to say my credit card number was leaked by hacker and I got a bill statement with unknown demand.

There are 28 unfaithful actions in a month.  Hackers enjoyed shopping in 5 kinds of currency, USD, AUD, GBP, EURO and Malaysian currency.  Fortunately my  credit card has insurance.  So my damage would be covered if it would become clear that I didn’t shop these items.  My credit card company is now on search about my trouble.

I also visited police station and told policemen about my accident.  They made report about my case and will make presentation to their supervisor.

I always check my bill very carefully.  So I could find mistake in my bill so quickly. I called my card company today when I got it.  I should keep this careful check on credit card bill.  Of course I stopped payment with this card immediately.  I will be given another new number soon.

How do I make out that I didn’t shop inUKnor US norMalaysia?  If we ask the retailer that hacker shopped, item must have delivered to the hacker.  I wan to know the address of destination.  But that is not my business.  Policemen or my card company would do that.

Anyway it was a really uncomfortable affair.

Dyeing Day

I have a new project of hooking, Miss Miss Weigle designed by Mr. Gene Shepherd.  To make it in my color, I need to get wool and dye it.

Yesterday, I had a chance to join a material bargain sale in my district.  There were a lot of people making cue in front of the entrance of the hall even it was 15 min before opening.   Because good wool material was sold $2.00 a yard!  The company makes dresses and sells their leftover wool to people around the area.  It is good!!   On the bargain, I got 3 pile of white wool.  Each pile had almost 10 yard of wool. They were very heavy to bring back home.

I said one pile of wool was almost 10 yard.  I didn’t measure it, just calculated with diameter of the pile and number of rolls of the wool.  2 π r would be the size of the circle, I remember.  Easy number work?

Yes, my purpose was dyeing the wool for my rug hooking.   I dyed it in 4 kinds of color, Chinese Red, Rose Pink, Bright Blue and Olive dram.   I post their picture.  There came 16 pieces in all.  I cooked

Dye powders are all from Pro Chemical & Dye in the U.S.   It is very easy to order dye powder and other supplies.    I often import items fromU.S.    Pro Chemical & Dye Company is very kind.    Dorr Mill is also kind and I have ever ordered them my wool many times.

I need more colors, Chest Nut, Mahogany, French Vanilla, Tan and Colonial Blue.

I can’t wait hooking my new project.    It is a rug of 30″x36″.  It would take over 6 months to finish.    I will report its intermadiate step on this blog

Sunset

I update after a long period.  Writing blog in English is so hard for me.  English is my second language.  I will be sixty years old next July and feel it very important to give my thought in my life.  That’s the main reason why I started this blog.

I got inspiration with Susan Naples’s project namded “African Sunset” that had got prize in Rug Hooking Magazine.  So I was very happy to find a very pretty photo on my newspaper.  I want to put my own product.  This is my hooked rug expressing sunset with #8.  I found a beautiful photo on the new paper one year ago.  I had been keeping the idea of making rug.   I feel badly to hook this because I have not got the agreement of the photographer.  I may be illegal to do this without permission.  I am sorry.

Background wool was dyed by painting technique.  I mean I painted with dye solution and rolled up the wool between aluminum foil and steamed for an hour. And hooked in order.  I needed wooden frame for the project so I hooked the frame in brown color.  I can carry it anywhere I want.  It is portable.

We will have a cultural festival in our district and I will join it with my rug.  I want to get many comments about my project.
